Privacy Policy

PetBooking provides a platform for managing pet hotels, bookings, clients and pet care. This policy applies to manager.petbooking.info and the official PetBooking Manager Android application. The website and application are operated by the same owner and are parts of the same PetBooking service.
Data we process
- Manager account data: name, email address, securely hashed password, role and hotel association.
- Hotel data: name, contact details, address, settings, accommodation units and prices.
- Client and pet data entered by managers to fulfil bookings: contact details, pet information and instructions concerning feeding, medication, behaviour and care.
- Booking, payment, care task and stay diary data, including images or documents uploaded by users.
- Technical and security data needed for authentication, abuse prevention and error diagnosis.
How data is used
Data is used to provide platform functions, process bookings, organise pet care, communicate with users, protect accounts, restore access and provide technical support.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by hosting, email and other technical infrastructure providers only as needed to operate the service. Data may also be disclosed where required by law.
Security
Data in transit is protected with HTTPS. Manager access requires authentication, passwords are not stored in plain text, and access is limited by user role and hotel. No storage method can provide absolute security.
Retention and deletion
Data is retained while an account or related records are needed to operate the service, meet contractual or legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. A user may request account deletion. Certain information may be retained longer where required by law or justified by security and accounting obligations.

Children
The application is intended for the business management of pet hotels and is not directed to children.

This policy may be updated when features or legal requirements change. The current version is always published on this page.
